Ahmedabad: The Sardar Patel stadium in Motera near Ahmedabad was on Wednesday renamed as the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Narendra Modi Stadium is well equipped with modern facilities with 55 rooms,zyms,restaurants,theatres,multiple dressing rooms etc..

Motera Stadium, re-opened after renovation with seating capacity of 1,10,000, hosts its first Test match on Wednesday with India and England.

The stadium’s new name was announced in an inauguration ceremony that was attended by President Ram Nath Kovind, Home Minister Amit Shah, Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat etc.

It can well be said that Narendra Modi Stadium becomes World No.1 Stadium.
