The Gujarat government has decided to rename dragon fruit as ‘Kamalam’, informed Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.
A patent to change the nomenclature of dragon fruit, which is largely grown in Kutch, Navsari, and different parts of Saurashtra, to ‘Kamalam’ was also applied.
